The Gradeall GPC S24 is a large scissor-type portable compactor. This portable waste compactor is a hook lift allowing it to be lifted and transported using any CHEM compliant hook lift lorry. This makes it a durable and extremely convenient waste management solution for any company that deals with or processes large volumes of waste material.
The twin ram arrangement makes the GPC S24 ideal for compacting dry waste including paper, cardboard, and plastics.
The option of a fully automatic bin lift is available; which removes the need for time-consuming manual loading. The bin lift features both a Comb and trunnion lift allowing the compactor to lift a variety of bin types, ranging in size up to 1100 litre capacities. The bin lift has been designed to allow the compactor to retain its CHEM compliance, as a result of this it has a transport position, which reduces its height making transport of the compactor much easier on the road.
The bin lift system comes with safety cages to keep operators out of the way of the moving mechanism. The safety cages have been designed to be easy to move into place when required, and feature magnetic interlocks to ensure the bin lift will not operate unless they are correctly in place.
The Gradeall GPC S24 has been built to comply with British CHEM Standards, an independent regulatory body overseeing issues associated with portable compactors. The advantage of this compliance is the knowledge that Gradeall portable compactors are compatible with any CHEM compliant skip lorry.
The GPC S24 portable compactor uses a modular hydraulic control system and has been specifically designed to work with the compactor. Due to the nature of the design of the compactor, the control panel can be positioned (according to customer request) to either the left or right side of the machine, making it suitable for a much wider range of sites. The other side of the GPC S24 is then fitted with an emergency stop button to ensure that the machine has an emergency stop on both sides.
The Intelli-Fill system comes as standard on the GPC S24 (Subject to network operator cost). This wirelessly sends information regarding the compactors operation and remaining capacity and allows Gradeall to remotely monitor the operation of the compactor in the event of running problems it can avoid expensive service call-outs.
