Gradeall Specialist Balers address materials and applications that standard vertical or horizontal balers cannot handle effectively. These machines have been developed over 25 years of working with recycling operations facing specific challenges — from baling waste tyres and textiles through to processing aluminium cans and mixed material streams.

Each specialist baler is purpose-designed for its target material, with chamber geometry, compaction force, and cycle characteristics optimised for that specific application rather than general-purpose compromise.

Our specialist balers fall into distinct categories based on the materials they process:

Tyre Baling Equipment

The MKII Tyre Baler compresses car and van tyres into dense, stackable bales that reduce storage volume by up to 80% and cut transport costs significantly. Bales produced meet PAS 108 specifications for construction reuse applications. The machine produces up to six bales per hour in standard operation.

The Truck Tyre Baler handles larger commercial vehicle tyres that standard tyre balers cannot accommodate. These heavy-duty tyres require greater compaction force and a larger chamber to produce stable, transportable bales.

The Inclined Tyre Conveyor integrates with our tyre balers, feeding tyres automatically to reduce manual handling and increase throughput — combined systems can process up to 1,000 tyres per hour.

Textile and Clothing Balers

The Clothing & Textile Baler compresses garments and soft textiles into dense bales for export, resale to textile recyclers, or charitable redistribution. The chamber design and compaction characteristics suit the springback behaviour of soft materials.

The Clothes Baler – Wiper Type produces bales specifically formatted for the industrial wipers market, where consistency of bale weight and density affects pricing and usability.

Aluminium Can Baler

The Can Baler processes aluminium drinks cans into compact bales suitable for direct sale to metal recyclers. Baling cans increases their value compared to loose collection and reduces the volume requiring storage and transport.

Multi Materials Baler

The Multi Materials Baler handles mixed waste streams where material separation isn’t practical or economical. This flexibility suits operations dealing with varied incoming materials that would otherwise require multiple dedicated machines.
