KF Tyres are Northern Irelands largest tyre collection and recycling company. On average collecting 15,000 tyres a week, through the constant movement of 2 semi lorries. In 2008 KF purchased a Gradeall MKII Tyre Baler, it was delivered and fully installed on their Premises in Derry.

Prior to this KF had been moving tyres loose – but since the install of a Gradeall Tyre Baler – they have seen both their truck movements and margins sore.

  • Reduce the volume of waste tyres by 60-70%
  • Each bale contains 95-110 waste tyres
  • Balers are compressed with a force of 45T
  • The machine produces a bale of approx. 1.5m x 1.2m x 0.75m
